silly & cute boys

Ok I know all moms think their kids are the cutest but come on, look at these kids! How can I not post these pics?

New School

The boys are officially in school now. Yakov is in pre-school, the twins are in pre-k. They love their school. There were so many schools to choose from so I'm glad they are happy, it helps to reconfirm that we made the right choice. This one is unique in that it offers a Hebrew immersion curriculum. The entire morning the kids learn in Hebrew, and in the afternoon they learn in English. They are having a blast.
2 weeks ago Ben & Yakov were each chosen to be Shabbat Abba in their classes, (Avi had been Abba the week before) So since we had 2 shabbat abbas at the school Yosef and I took an hour off of our mornings and popped into the school to see what they were doing. Of course I brought my camera, so you can see too! Oh and Yehuda came along too.

Yakov got a bit overwhelmed at the shabbat table and somewhere in between kiddush and hamotzie started crying. Who knows why? But I captured it on film to remind him forever.

The twins class was a very different experience, when we got there they were braiding challah. Then Ben proudly wore the Shabbat Abba tie and lead the class in the brachot. I was so proud of him. The boys were very excited to show me their shofars on the wall that they got stickers on when they were good. It was so much fun to see them so happy.

That first picture makes me laugh whenever I see it. I've never seen him make that face, thats just how the camera captured him blinking I guess... but its sooo funny.
He really is a sweet baby I love him so much.

Party pics

We went to 2 birthday parties today, one in the morning, a 3 yr old boys 1st hair cutting. The second in the afternoon, our cousin Ella turned one. What a fun day! The boys were very well behaved, I was proud of them. There was so much to do, besides eat cake and cookies. There was an air hockey table and the boys loved playing against each other. Yehuda had fun crawling and playing with new toys. He even rode a pony! Well sort of. Unfortunately the pics from the 1st party came out too blury to post ( I know you thought all my pics are perfect, sorry to burst your bubble.)
Yehuda pulled himself up to standing today for the 1st time. He wanted to see himself in the funny mirrored wall. He lasted 2 seconds then collapsed (long enough to get a picture of it and have my hands free to catch his head.)

Highlights from Aunt Linda & Rachael's Visit

Aunt Linda and Rachael came to visit us early September and we had so much fun with them. We took the kids out of school for the day and Yosef took off from work and we escaped to Disneyland for the whole day! I'm not sure who had more fun. Aunt Linda was on top of the world when we saw snow white dancing! The boys were so happy they got to go on any ride they wanted because there were no lines. We all got a big laugh from Ben when we went to visit Chip N Dales house (the chipmunks who Ben referred to as "chicken dale") Ben said " I don't think he's home, his cars not here."

On another day we picked up the kids from school and headed to the beach for the afternoon. seeing the Pacific ocean was alot of fun and we had a nice relaxing time playing in the sand and talking to the lifeguard and even dipping our feet in the ocean.

I'm pretty sure my cousin Rachael's favorite part was when we met up with Yosef at his office and had lunch and she went shopping at Belldini.

We had so much fun together. We laughed alot. I'm so happy they took the time to come and spend some time with us. It was fun to have people come over who remember me as Jaime, not someones wife or mother. Next week my brother Max is coming to visit and the boys are very excited to see their uncle again.
