Family Update
Yehuda is doing great. He turned 6 weeks. As you can see in the video of him he started smiling. (and no its not gas) Avi & Ben turned 4 Jan 15th, and we are now preparing Yakov for his big milestone of turning 3 in March. He will get his first haircut and his pacifier will get cut too. He will also get to wear tzitzit like his brothers. he is very excited.
The big brothers are very happy with their little brother. Though they do try to test their boundaries of where to touch the baby and just how hard. They helped me feed him yesterday with a bottle, and helped burp him too. Avi thinks he taught Yehuda how to hold Avi's finger in his fist. Avi was very proud of himself for that.
Yosef is a wonderful daddy. He still finds energy after a long day at work, to come home to 4 boys each eager to grab his attention. Not to mention a sleep deprived wife that he so kindly puts up with. Life was so hectic this past month that we nearly forgot it was our 5th wedding anniversary!
Lately, I have been watching a show on TLC called jon & kate plus eight, about a couple with twin 7 year old girls and 3 yr old sextuplets. Somehow after an episode of that show my life seems more simple.
Our new challenge is to find a good school for the boys to attend in the Fall.
So thats whats goin on here.

Something Ben said...
When my mom was here she asked Ben if we have a dog. His answer was "No...But sometimes we have crickets."
Speaking of crickets... we did have a season of surround sound crickets in our home. Occasionally we would see them hopping across the floor. So when the boys found one and told me about it they wanted me to get rid of it. So I stepped on it and flushed it down the toilet. Little did I know later on that day my toilet would be flooded with all their little fake rubber buggies that Yakov tried to flush.

Something Yakov said...
When we were on our way to daycare, the boys heard a funny sound. When they asked me what it was, I explained that a small rock from the road got stuck around the tire and flew away. To whichYakov replied with a surprised tone "Rocks have wings!" I could only laugh.
Multi-tasking Mommy
I consider myself a multi-tasking Mommy. I try to make lists for markets so I don't have to go food shopping 3 times a week. I was talking to a friend of mine just last week and we were tryiing to help eachother out. She asked me if there were any errands she could do for me that would really help me out. I asked her if she could go to the gym for me! We got a good laugh out of that one.

Yehuda at 2 1/2 weeks
Yehuda is doing great. He sleeps through the noise of his brothers, and even tolerates the occasional poking and prodding of their toddler hands. The "big brothers" as we are now calling the other 3, are adjusting surprisingly well. Sure they each demand their own attention but what toddler doesn't? They have each other. Right now their latest obsession is Mary Poppins. The 3 of them will sit and watch it from beginning to end and still want to see more. They walk around the house singing the lyrics. Its quite cute, for about 5 minutes. Then we have to beg them to sing another song.
